Syair nasyid ini sangat indah dan menyentuh, bikin badan merinding dan mata meleleh saat menyanyikanya, nasyid tentang kewajiban penghormatan anak kepada ibu, yang nilainya 3x lebih besar daripada kepada ayah.
Seorang lelaki bertanya kepada Rasulallah (saw) siapakah orang yang paling berhak dihormati: Nabi (saw) menjawab: Ibumu! Lelaki itu bertanya lagi, kemudian siapa lagi, Nabi (saw) menjawab: Ibumu! Lelaki itu terus bertanya, kemudian siapa lagi? Nabi (saw) menjawab ibumu! Kemudian siapa lagi? Nabi (saw) menjawab pula: Kemudian Bapamu! (Hadis riwayat at-Tirmizi )
Nasyid ini kita bawakan saat pengumuman hasil musabaqoh di masjid. Seperti tahun2 sebelumnya selalu ada pentas seni kecil dari berbagai negara ( Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia) sebelum pengumuman musabaqoh. Ada puisi atau nasyid. Tapi untuk tahun ini, cuma Indonesia yang siap untuk tampil, dan membawakan nasyid berjudul Your Mother dari Yusuf Islam. Disimak yuk, lirik yang indah ini.
